1st Cumberland Scouting offers programs for
Beavers (ages 5-7), Cubs (ages 8-10), and Scouts (ages 11-14) - both boys and girls.
We are an enthusiastic and dynamic group serving youth
from Cumberland Village, Cardinal Creek, Sarsfield, Navan, Vars and the surrounding areas.
We promote Scouts Canada's goal of a youth-guided programming and a well rounded lifestyle with an emphasis on leadership skills
and enjoying the outdoors through activities and hands-on learning experiences in a wide variety of areas!
This website has been created to provide a snapshot of our group and it's activities.
1st Cumberland Scouting is proud to participate in Scouts Canada's Canadian Path. This program is aimed at encouraging youth to become well-rounded young adults while maintaining a focus on the outdoors, and youth at all levels will be providing some level of input on the programming and activities (more at higher levels, less at lower levels). Youth regularly participate in learning and improving their skills in Environment and Outdoors, Leadership, Active and Healthy Living, Citizenship, Creative Expression, and Beliefs and Values program areas.
