Scouts Canada offers several challenging programs for boys and girls, from ages 5 – 26.
We offer the first three of these: Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts.

2016-2017 is going to be the first year of Scouts Canada's new revitalized program - the Canadian Path. This program is aimed at encouraging youth to become well-rounded young adults while maintaining a focus on the outdoors, and youth at all levels will be providing some level of input on the programming and activities (more at higher levels, less at lower levels). Youth will regularly participate in learning and improving their skills in Environment and Outdoors, Leadership, Active and Healthy Living, Citizenship, Creative Expression, and Beliefs and Values program areas.

Group Committee

Group Committee is the set of volunteers behind 1st Cumberland who ensure that we adhere to all Scouts Canada policies and procedures; manage our finances; provide administrative support to the group required by Scouts Canada; and plan and organize our weekly meetings, fundraising and special events.

Group Committee meets once a month. Please contact us if you would like to help out as a volunteer.
